Inventory Control Team Leader

Our company operates a full service marina with an extensive yacht repair facility at a new state of the art facility on Cape Cod.  We are currently seeking an outstanding, experienced individual as our Inventory Control Team Leader.  This position requires a high level of organization ability and attention to detail.  Successful candidates must have demonstrated inventory control background, ability to provide directions to others and excellent communication skills.

 

Responsibilities IncludeImplements and maintains procedures to safeguard the inventory on an ongoing basis.Provides direction, manages and assigns job responsibilities to stockroom staff.Maintains responsibility for the organization and operation of ship store and stockroom inventory.Establish and maintains necessary forms and procedures to account for movement of inventory.Implements and enforces procedures established by management to accurately account for the value of the inventory.Minimizes WIP service and work flow interruptions.Ensures accurate assignment of inventory to service work orders.Interfaces with Purchasing on a regular basis to maintain proper inventory levels.  May perform purchasing duties on an as needed basis.Prevent aged inventory items.Maintains effective cycle counts.
