JR STAFF ACCOUNTANT (1-2 yrs exp)

Responsibilities:

 Review and post revenue entries related to drive and ride classesPrepare invoices and apply payments related to over 40 different travel voucher companiesFacilitate all accounting functions as it relates to automobile manufacturer programsReconciling deferred revenue accounts Complete bank account reconciliationsPrepare/post  journal entries and accrualsPrepare miscellaneous Balance Sheet reconciliationsAssist in month-end close processAssist in year-end close and auditParticipate in department automation initiativesDocument processes and proceduresPerform other job-related duties as assigned

 

Requirements:

 Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred1-2 years accounting experience to include general ledger/month end closingMicrosoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains) experience a plusAdvanced proficiency with MS ExcelProficient in MS Word and OutlookExperience transferring and manipulating data across various electronic platformsDetail oriented with strong analytical skillsAbility to prioritize and multi-task in order to meet deadlinesWorks independently with limited supervision and is a team playerFamiliarity with motorsports industry a plus
