LEAD WAREHOUSE PERSON 

HEAVY DUTY DIESEL ENGINE & TRANSMISSION BUSINESSES

 

v Responsible for managing the parts warehouse function and warehouse staff in an active and diverse service, repair and rebuild environment.

v The company is an authorized manufacturer dealer/distributor in the heavy duty diesel engine and transmission industry.

v It has a strong regional service, repair and parts business

v It has an international diesel engine and transmission rebuilding business serving customers around the world.

 

Reports to: Manager Inventory & Logistics

 

The Lead Warehouse Person is responsible all aspects of:

·  Maintaining an active engine & transmission  parts warehouse;

·  Accurate order picking and preparation for Shop and customers;

·  Receiving stock and special orders;

·  Posting parts inventory received & issued to inventory system

·  Shipping parts to local and international customers via UPS/FEDEX etc;

·  Maintain accurate inventory, including month-end and cycle counts;

·  Work closely with Shop  and Parts Sales staff to co-ordinate orders;

·  Manage & maintain a safe, professional, clean warehouse environment.

 

Skills and Experience:

·  Experience in an industrial parts warehouse environment preferred;

·  Shipper/receiver experience required;

·  Managed inventory warehouse staff preferred;

·  Organized person with computer skills;

·  Comfortable operating in fast-paced environment with deadlines;

·  Valid WA driver’s license

·  Must be physically able to lift 50lbs

 

Compensation:   $15.00 -17.50 per hour DOE
