LEAN ENTERPRISE MANAGER

Job Description SummaryAbility to create a vision of where we need to be, build a consensus among our staff and create and execute a plan to achieve the vision and make tough decisions quickly to keep lean projects on track. Additional responsibility for managing the facilities team.

Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesEssential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Provide leadership and technical skills for Kaisen events and other lean initiatives. Coordinate lean activities to achieve corporate lean manufacturing goals and expectations. Actively participate in company-wide lean coordination and communication teams. Timely communication of updated information regarding key lean metrics. Maintain updated Value Stream Maps and provide ongoing coordination of Performance Metrics tracking system. Provide appropriate lean training for facility employees. Follow –up on action plans with events to ensure activities are moving forward. Oversee building modification, expansion, and equipment selection.

B.A. /B.S. from a four year college or university in engineering field. Minimum of 3 years of lean manufacturing experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in start-up and implementation of Lean Manufacturing programs. Six Sigma training preferred. Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment.
