Quality Testing Technician

Lang-Mekra North America a tier one supplier of rear vision mirror systems to the heavy trucking OEM industry is currently seeking a Quality Testing Technician.

Job Profile:
Will be responsible for conducting design and product evaluation tests such as corrosion, environmental, material analysis, and mechanical; conducting and recording daily QC tests for Injection Molding Department; conducting daily laboratory routine tasks including maintenance tasks of laboratory equipment utilized.  Will be responsible for accepting, reivewing, and scheduling testing requests from clients and customers in compliance with company procedures; supporting laboratory testing in creating and deploying of product DVP&R schedules; maintainng and upgrading laboratory standards and specifications (both industry and customer); Ensuring adherence of performance testing to known standards and procedures; Creating, reporting, and posting final test reports, including amendments; Implementing QMS reaction plans as required (CAR, PAR, etc.) Providing support in the recommendation, design, and development of test apparatus such as test fixtures and other necessary tools; Utilizing MSA statistical studies in the validation and verification of laboratory testing

Qualifications
Must have a minimum of Associate's Degree in mechanical or industrial engineering Must have minimum of one year's experience in testing and laboratory Must have good knowledge of quality management systems methodology including QMS, EMS, DPV&R and APQP Must have good understanding of mirror system technology and design including knowledge of industrial strandards and requirements Must have a good method of problem solving for issues Must be able to communicate technically to management, customers, suppliers, etc. Must be able to read and understand prints and drawings Must have working knowledge of measurement and tolerance measurement systems Must be able to perform statistical validations/DOE's.
