Lead Catia / VPM Analyst

Automotive GroupPosition: Lead Catia/ GVPM AnalystLocation:  Plymouth, MISupport  all North American Catia and GVPM users in the design of Interior and seating products in Holland and Plymouth.  Work with and support the Global GVPM and Catia support team to roll-out out GVPM to EU and Asia. - Define Catia/VPM system functional requirements and gain approval from Engineering.- Provide specific Design Functional Requirements documentation to the GVPM development team.-Test GVPM functionality before approval for production release and roll-out.- Investigate, test, recommend, document, and train all issues and remedies with the CATIA and GVPM systems.- Provide timely user support through a variety of different methods and tools, including direct interaction email, remote connection, published documentation and user group meetings. Users require on-going support with questions and issues including, but not limited to; 3D Catia V5 CAD design,  2D drafting, and Catia / VPM data management.Highly desire Technical Undergraduate Degree, position requires 10-15 years in the Automotive Design Industry with 4-10 years of Catia design and VPM data management. Engineering Degree is recommended.
