Job description: MANUFACTURING ENGINEER

We are a rapidly growing manufacturer of high performance automotive valve train products, (NASCAR, F-1, IRL, NHRA, ETC.) We are seeking a dynamic individual for product development and process improvement in state of the art manufacturing environment.

 

Location: California

 

Responsibilities to include:

 

• Process development implementing automated CNC machines.

• Process capability study and improvement, manufacturing process

Trouble shooting.

• Fixture and tooling design (Solidworks a plus).

• Plan and cell layout.

• Machine and tooling purchasing, tool set-up reduction techniques.

• Develop quality control plans, handle corrective actions and work instruction

documentation.

• Set-up teams to focus on lean manufacturing and continuous improvement.

 

Qualifications:

 

Ideal candidate will have 5+yrs machine shop experience and a proven track record of

process improvement. Knowledge of SPC and Quality Control Systems required.

Cad/Cam Software experience, SolidWorks a definite plus.

BSc in Engineering or equivalent work experience required.
