Summary:
Supports the procurement and distribution of MRO materials, parts, equipment, services, and supplies for the assigned Brose site by performing the following duties. Coordinates purchases of all items necessary for the daily MRO needs of a Brose facility in North America. This may include, but is not limited to, spare parts, tools, building and maintenance services, building furnishings, and IT equipment. Responsible for adherence to corporate agreements and establishing/monitoring local contracts for Brose facility to enhance purchasing leverage for MRO items.

Position is responsible for one of Brose’s facilities in North America.
Decision making affects operations up-time, performance, and appearance. (i.e. facilities, capital equipment, etc..)
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Supports and complies with purchasing strategy for MRO purchasing at Brose facilities in NAFTA region.
· Coordinates all activities related to local procurement of a commodity beginning with intent to purchase through delivery.
· Analyzes the requirements of the commodity, including preliminary specifications, preferred supplier, and date commodity is needed.
· Solicits and evaluates proposals for the requested commodity.
· Investigates and/or interviews potential local suppliers to determine if they meet the specified requirements.
· Advises team members or management on the appropriate supplier to be used.
· Implements assigned local purchase contracts, based on Purchasing Management approval, that comply with company and government regulations.
· Assures that all purchases are delivered on schedule, at the negotiated price, and meet the quality standards of the company.
· Maintains timely control of orders, amendments, shipping notices, and other documents to assure accurate retention of records.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree in Business; with a minimum of three years experience in MRO purchasing or an automotive purchasing role.
