Position Summary:
Manages the planning, development and implementation of advertising and promotional events throughout the assigned region. Responsible for management/direction/coodination/reporting of all regional marketing fund budgets, and regional incentive budgets.

Essential Duties:
•Carries out managerial responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, training and developing employees; planning, assigning and directing work; assessing performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
•Works with advertising agency to develop and implement advertising and promotional events for the Region.
•Communicates region advertising, promotion and incentive programs to region staff and dealers. Coordinates production of monthly newsletters. . Trains managers and dealers on implementation of all incentive programs. Works with dealers to resolve incentive, co-op, and advertising issues, questions and problems.
. •Participates in all regional MMM and Mazda Metro Group (MMG) activities and provides regional management with information about MMM/MMG activities and feedback on MMM/MMG advertising; supervises budget tracking of MMG groups.
•Oversees planning, coordination, communication, and set up of national, regional and dealer auto shows. Assists with national shows held in the region.
•Supervises budget tracking for Region Market Stimulation Fund. Manages, approves and distributes region’s Market Stimulation Funds and Local Area Funds to regional staff.
•Develops and produces merchandising materials to generate dealer loyalty and enthusiasm.

•Plans, manages and coordinates regional promotions including ordering vehicles and materials. Provides feedback to regional management on effectiveness. Prepares and presents proposals for new regional incentive programs based on region sales activity when requested.
•Prepares, analyzes and distributes all month end reports including month end letters and MMM/MMG performance reports. Updates competitive information.
•Oversees regional MDOL/web site and other e-commerce activity between corporate and dealers. Provide leadership, direction, and management to DMs to ensure MNAO’s sales objectives are met.
Qualifications:
•Education(Minimum):Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) in business administration, marketing, advertising, or related discipline from a four-year college or university and 3-4 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

•Experience: 8 or more years

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

•General understanding of the automotive industry is required.
•Knowledge of accounting and finance related to analyzing and interpreting market performance, demographic data, calculating lease payments, and basic accounting functions.
•Familiar with budgeting principles and general administrative practices
•Knowledge of management principles and supervisory practices.
•Understanding of marketing, sales, and advertising principles

•Able to plan, organize, and manage assigned function.
•Able to select, train, develop, supervise, motivate, and evaluate staff.
•Must be able to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. Experienced in all aspects of dealer sales operations. Demonstrated ability to manage larger departments and budgets. Experience with customer satisfaction and dispute resolution operations. Demonstrated ability to develop strategic planning and implement actions to success.
