MANAGER, STRATEGIC HR PROGRAMS
HIGH POTENTIAL HR ROTATIONAL PROGRAM
Our client is a $13B+ global manufacturing company with over 60,000 employees worldwide. Well-known for hiring excellence within its Human Resources function--and providing significant growth opportunities--our client is seeking to add a high-potential HR talent to its Kalamazoo, MI division headquarters staff.From this position, our client has promoted several individuals to more senior HR leadership roles. In short, this position is viewed as a key developmental role for future senior HR leaders within the firm.
The Manager of Strategic HR Programs will drive core HR processes and create HR excellence across a multi-billion dollar operating group. You will have regular interaction with senior HR and line management in the design, development and implementation of high-value projects within the division at the headquarters facility. Examples of projects could include:
-- Design and implementation of a division-wide succession plan.
-- Design, implementation and analysis of Organizational Health Surveys.
-- Development and implementation of programs impacting Leadership Development, Performance Management, Staffing, Rewards and Recognition, Employee Satisfaction and Involvement and Employee Communications.
The successful candidate will have/possess:
-- 5-7 years experience in Human Resources in progressively more responsible roles.
-- Excellent verbal and presentation skills.
-- Ability to effectively build relationships and influence events.
-- Masters degree in Human Resources or MBA from a top-tier university.
-- Experience in a Manufacturing environment.
-- Interest in relocating to the Kalamazoo, MI area for an 18-24 month period prior to the possibility of being promoted and relocated to another location within the Company.
