Manufacturing Process Engineer: Assembly

Financially solid Tier 1 Supplier to the Transportation Industry has an opportunity for an experienced Assembly Process Engineer, at their main manufacturing facility. Primary responsibilities will be:

*Evaluate current Assembly processes for improvement opportunities.  Recommend process changes & coordinate implementation.

*Provide technical support to to Assembly process, including automatic machines.

*Provide layout, tooling, methods & material handling technical solutions to Assembly issues.

Additionally, candidate will be involved in review of product designs & identify production requirements, making tooling & fixture recommendations. Also, involvement with vendors for tooling requirements, tryouts, & approval.

Requirements: College Degree (BSME, BSIE, BSEE), 5+ years of manufacturing & tooling experience, strong interpersonal & analytical skills. Knowledge of Toyota Production System a PLUS.
