Mechanical Process Engineer with Robert Bosch

Robert Bosch LLC, with automotive headquarters in Farmington Hills, MI is seeking a Mechnical Process Engineer for its Anderson, SC manufacturing facility, in support of automotive thick-film ceramic hybrid electronics.

PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES:Utilize problem-solving techniques and be able to successfully manage top 10 "bad actors" list.Improve projects towards optimal MTBF's (Mean Time Between Failures) and MTTR's (Mean Time To Repair) periods. Identify and execute maintenance process improvement initiatives. Design reliability evaluation plans, perform FMEA's (RCM) and root cause analysis towards long-term equipment performance. Coordinate activities with Engineering Design and Planning Teams, review designs, drive warranty claims, and ensure customer reliability requirements are met. Identify and execute short and long-term equipment maintenance plans. Document reliability studies by recording test results, preparing investigative reports, and developing plans for maintaining reliability databases.

REQUIREMENTS:

 

·  BS Degree in Engineering is required. Mechanical,  Materials or Ceramic engineering is preferred.

·  Capital equipment procurement is a plus.

·  Experience in writing and maintaining process documentation is a plus.

·  Six Sigma, RCA, RCM, FMEA experience preferred.

 

This facility is located in a scenic portion of South Carolina within minutes of the mountains, with access to several local freshwater lakes and all the activities that they provide. It is also only a few hours to the coast, and within 2 hours of Atlanta.
