Night Shift Production Supervisor

National Standard, a leading manufacturer of wire and wire products, has an opening for a night shift production supervisor at the Niles, MI facility. 

This position is responsible for supporting hourly union employees with appropriate training and resources and interfacing with other departments to ensure safety, quality, and production goals are met.  The production supervisor must consistently apply work rules according to company policy and union contract and is responsible for leading process improvements through Lean and 5S initiatives. 

Qualified candidates will have a minimum of five years supervision experience in a manufacturing environment.  Experience with Lean and 5S initiatives and supervision in a union environment is preferred.  Candidates must be available to work night shift hours including weekend overtime as required by production demands.
