OVERVIEW
• This is a high-visibility position to serve as a primary contact for ArvinMeritor Commercial Vehicle Aftermarket accounts. The incumbent interacts with all organizational levels including Marketing, Pricing, Purchasing, Materials Planning, Engineering and Sales on a global basis. The successful candidate will cover the Eastern Region of the United States.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Primary contact for ArvinMeritor Commercial Vehicle Aftermarket to accounts. Interactions require knowledge in Management, Engineering/Tech Publications, Pricing, Sales, Marketing, Purchasing and related Warranty concerns.
• Consulting to OEM organizations. Develop marketing / sales programs & promotions tailored to the unique strengths of each OEM. Communicate results to relevant internal and external parties.
• Strategise to increase sales in existing and new markets.
• Familiar with related policies and procedures.
• Develop and implement 2-year Marketing Plan providing OEM and internal focus on base building business opportunities.
• Assist OEM’s with their pricing strategy ensuring market price is appropriate while maximizing profitability.
• Determine competitors’ relative strengths and weaknesses and communicate to marketing and sales groups.
• Represent CVA in appropriate production discussions to maximize coordination.
• Spearhead efforts within OEM’s to gather sales data to measure the effectiveness of ArvinMeritor’s field sales organization. Evaluate technology gaps between organizations.
• Maintain and update SalesLogix files for designated accounts.
• Gather and analyze competitive information to assess our relative position for subsequent action determination.
• Track, the inventory positions of the OEMs’ ArvinMeritor product stock. Participate in SCM activities.
• Forecast sales of each OEM,.
• Represent ArvinMeritor and/or coordinate representation at OEM /dealer trade shows / open houses.
• Determine significance of product changes/supercessions for each OEM. Assist in communications, inventory actions, and implementations. Implement stocking programs designed to support newer products in the field.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor degree; prefer marketing, business or engineering major with minimum of (6) years experience in sales, marketing, customer support, business or engineering. Prefer ArvinMeritor automotive products experience.
• Strong written and oral communication skills, including platform presentation, to present information and coordinate activities.
• Demonstrated organizational abilities to successfully interact, develop, maintain and follow through on responsibilities.
• Demonstrated strong product and technical knowledge.
• Must possess high level of proficiency in MS Office Applications (e.g. MS Excel, MS Word)
• Ability to build profitable long-term relationships.
• Ability to travel (60%).
