Occupational Health Nurse

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS   

(MUST meet minimum qualifications to be considered) Degree as LPN or higher Licensed to practice nursing in Arkansas 4 Years in Nursing field Must be able to work flexible hours (varying between 5 AM – 8 PM) Must be able to work 40 hours per week Bonded & Insured ($1 Million)

 REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES Must be self-directed Must be capable of working independently Must be task oriented Must support & adhere to policies & procedures Direct, initiate, and implement patient care plans. Provide nursing care for pre-employment physicals, drug screenings, flu vaccines and safety training programs, etc. Proven experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Ability to perform a variety of tasks. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

 PREFERENCES Registered Occupational Health Nurse Experience as a Plant Nurse Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (RN)

PHYSICAL DEMANDS & ENVIRONMENT

While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 35 pounds, lift in excess of 35 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts/equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear.  You may also be required to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision.
