Operations Analyst II

• Monitoring work load and prioritizing call tickets
• Working with shop floor networking, data acquisition, database, and control systems, in a manufacturing environment.
• Installing and maintaining shop floor equipment, servers, and/or software and database systems
• Troubleshooting shop floor servers, equipment, and systems, and effecting or recommending corrective actions
• Assisting in general infrastructure support efforts
• Diagnosing, resolving, and/or escalating problems
• Interfacing with other groups and/or third party suppliers to resolve problems and close issues.
• Assisting in data gathering and problem analyses
• Performing the most advanced level of troubleshooting
• Training/mentoring other associates and/or customers
• Developing custom software and hardware solutions for small to medium sized shop floor projects while working toward developing the skills to handle larger and more complex projects.
• Assisting in research and development of new technologies for shop floor applications
• Experience in information technology in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
• Experience with Windows scripting languages and/or any other programming languages, including database SQL query language, is required.
• Experience with Intel based servers, Microsoft operating systems, and SQL Server databases is desired
