The Los Angeles Parts Distribution Center (LAPDC) of Toyota's North American Parts Operations division is looking for

 (2) Operations Leaders -2nd shift operations (4:30pm – 1:00am).

In this role, you will supervise activities in the vehicle parts pick, pack, and ship operation for more than 100 Toyota & Lexus dealerships.  Additionally, the Operations Leaders will work to attain LAPDC goals and objectives by strengthening trust, building a cooperative relationship with union representation, and facilitating change in the daily promotion of Total Quality Management (TQM) and Kaizen principles.

Requirements include but may not be limited too:Direct day-to-day operations and supervise union hourly warehouse associates Provide leadership in a safe, secure, and engaging work environment that fosters associate involvement, creativity and development Create short and medium range plans and develop strategies to increase total operational efficiency

Qualifications:

1. High School diploma or equivalent.  Bachelor's degree preferred

2. 3 years warehouse supervisory experience in a dynamic distribution environment required. Experience in a union setting, preferred.

3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills

4. A solid understanding of warehouse distribution processes, policy enforcement, safety and positive employee working environments.

5. Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Lotus Notes software applications

6. Must be able to work the assigned schedule and occasional overtime on Saturdays.
