Headquartered in Columbus, Ohio, TIGERPOLY MANUFACTURING, INC., a dynamic state-of-the-art Tier One OEM of specialized automotive components, is actively seeking the following team-oriented, dedicated professional reporting to the Production Manager

 PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR

2nd Shift (3PM-11:30PM)

 

Managing production on the floor by monitoring production schedules, prioritizing schedules, communicating shortage of materials, communicating quality issues to quality  and other supervisors, and determining maintenance priorities, you will:

 Communicate/administer policies.

 Coach and counsel direct reports.

 Manage direct reports by training, evaluating performance, setting goals, assigning work stations, forecasting labor demands, and motivating associates.

 Maintain a safe working environment by verifying constant use of PPE, ensuring procedures are being followed, etc.

 Track associate time and attendance accurately.

 Perform administrative responsibilities such as preparing the daily shift report.

 

To qualify, you must possess:

 A minimum of 3-5 years supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the automotive industry and in plastics and/or rubber.

 Proficiency with Excel and Word.

 The ability to multi-task and work independently.

 The ability to process machines and/or set molds preferred.

 

A willingness to work overtime, (overtime paid after 45 hours per week), and to trade shifts with other supervisors to cover vacations, illnesses, etc. is necessary.
