PROGRAM MANAGER

North American Lighting, Inc. is a Tier 1 supplier of exterior lighting products to the automotive industry.  NAL has 2500 employees in five facilities, is headquartered in Paris, IL, and has annual sales in excess of $500 million.  The Company is a wholly owned subsidiary of Koito Manufacturing Company, the largest supplier of automotive lighting products worldwide.

 

 

 

 Scope Of Job: Leadership and coordination of product development and launch activity of core teams. Setting and achieving program objective for timing cost, manufacturability, quality, localization and customer satisfaction.Some duties and responsibilities include:  Lead Core Team activities.  Plan program with key milestones, create schedules, communicate plan and schedule, define each functional area’s deliverables and generate consensus from the team.  Budget, track and control all project costs in real time.  Ensure that all chargeable costs are assigned to the customer. 

 

Minimum Requirements: BS Degree in Engineering, and 5-8 years automotive experience in Program Management, Quality, Design, Engineering, or Manufacturing (preferably in multiple areas).

 

Preferred Requirements:   Master’s Degree in Engineering or MBA, and 5-8 years of automotive experience in Program Management, Quality, Design, Engineering, or Manufacturing (preferably in multiple areas).
