Robert Bosch Corporation with automotive headquarters in Farmington Hills, MI is seeking a Planning Manager for its Anderson, SC manufacturing facility.

PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES:Overall responsibility for electronics, logistics and planning Develop and lead improvement plans and reporting toolsBe an active member on the leadership team and work together to identify and set clear direction for the team.Manage a staff of high achieving professionals responsible for;Value stream material planning and managementCustomer delivery performanceDeviation managementEstablishing, tracking and meeting inventory targetsIdentifying and leading material, warehouse, planning systems improvement projectsImplementing and Maintaining Kanban/Pull Systems, Heijunka, 5S/Visual Management/Control. 

 

REQUIREMENTS:BS, technical discipline5+ years production control/materials management progressive experienceProven leadership abilityStrong Planning experience in a lean fast paced industryDemonstrated success in implementing lean manufacturing in supply chainFast paced, high achieving individual with demonstrated results

This facility is located in a scenic portion of South Carolina within minutes of the mountains, with access to several local freshwater lakes and all the activities that they provide. It is also only a few hours to the coast, and within 2 hours of Atlanta.
