Plant Quality ManagerJob Responsibilities: Responsible for the design, implementation and monitoring of quality control and quality assurance systems, processes and statistical techniques, which ensure internal and customer quality criteria are met and exceeded.  Leads implementation and maintenance of the quality management system in accordance with ISO/TS16949:2002 standards.  Oversees the formulation of location related quality systems documentation including procedures and work instructions.  Directs the activities of the quality department which include: document control, corrective/preventive action, internal audits, receiving inspection, change management, warranty analysis, and customer satisfaction. Designs or specifies inspection and testing mechanisms and equipment.  Acts as the facility's customer liaison with regard to quality standards, expectations and performance.  Qualifications: Minimum 5 years quality management experience in a manufacturing environment. Automotive experience preferred. Thorough understanding of quality disciplines. Ability to apply quality principles to internal and customer quality requirements. Understanding of and the ability to apply the ISO/TS16949 standard. Possesses strong analytical and problem solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.  Education: Bachelors Degree required; Six Sigma Greenbelt Certification preferred.
