SENIOR TEST ENGINEER JOB DESCRIPTION IS AS FOLLOWS:

Reviews circuit board designs for testability requirements. 
Supports manufacturing with failure analysis, tester debugging, reduction of intermittent failures downtime of test equipment.
Prepares recommendations for testing and documentation of procedures to be used from the production phase through to initial production.
Generates reports and analysis of test data, prepares documentation and recommendations.
Reviews test equipment designs, data and RMA issues with team regularly.
Directs engineering and technical personnel on operation of testing and test control apparatus.
Directs and coordinates engineering activities concerned with development, procurement, installations, calibration of instruments, equipment, and control devices required to test, record, and reduce tests.
Optimizes conditions under which tests are to be conducted and sequences and phases of test operations.
Directs and exercises control over operational, functional, and performance phases of test.
Perform moderately complex assignments of the engineering test function for standard and/or custom devices.
Analyzes and interprets test data and prepares technical reports for use by test engineering and management personnel.
Develops or uses computer software and hardware to conduct tests on machinery and equipment.
Performs semi-routine technique development and maintenance, subject  to established standards, ISO and QS development standards.

 

Process Engineer:

 

Qualifications:

Must have a minimum of a Bachelors degree in Engineering, preferably in Mechanical Engineering.
Controls Engineering/PLC experience highly preferred.
Should have solid Knowledge of lean manufacturing techniques including poka-yoke, kaizen, one-piece flow, etc.
Automotive experience preferred.
Electronics experience preferred.
Must have experience in either an Automotive or Electronics manufacturing environment

Responsibilities:

Design and implement final assembly manufacturing cells including fixtures containing mistake proofing controls utilizing PLC and integration of system control in final assembly. 
Primarily measured on success of final assembly area including defects (PPM) and productivity. 
After initial start-up phase complete, will be responsible for implementing continuous improvement and lean manufacturing principles on the manufacturing floor, trouble-shooting manufacturing assembly issues, and continuously explore new methods to assemble products to reduce direct and indirect costs. 
Will participate in cross functional team supporting manufacturing teams.
Design and implement mistake proof fixtures.
Responsible for troubleshooting assembly processes to improve yield and efficiency.
Responsible for investigating new processes to streamline assembly.
Responsible for conducting organized studies and experiments to identify the root cause of assembly or quality problems.
Responsible team member for new program production launches.
Responsible for new product pilot and ISIR runs, to insure proper assembly and function of all support equipment.
Investigates and initiates design changes for cost effectiveness.
Works closely with Product Engineering function to insure that new products are designed for assembly.
