Federal-Mogul employees throughout the organization create value for our stakeholders and continuously strive to exceed our customers' expectations. 1.Create and modify product drawings and raw material specifications2.Support domestic and global product transfers3.Lead the commercialization of modified products, otherwise called fast-track programs.4.Participate in product design reviews for new and existing products within the global organization.5.Act as a key member in addressing product deficiencies and problems.6.Participate in the APQP process to ensure product designs and meet customer expectations. 7.Design new products using CAD system, and provide creative input regarding material selection, tooling design, and process structure.8.Work closely with the Sales Team to incorporate customer's inputs into existing product designs.9.Support Program Management, Purchasing, and Manufacturing in product realization process.10.Assist in the design and development of production equipment for new products.11.Support Supply Chain Management in the qualification of new materials and vendors. 1.BS Engineering or equivalent experience in product design.2.Ability and willingness to work in a team environment.3.Ability to act with sense of urgency when resolving issues.4.Minimum of two (2) to five(5) years of various engineering experience, and exposure to Manufacturing and Applications Engineering.5.Working knowledge of the APQP process. 6.Excellent communication and technical writing skills.7.Excellent problem solver and analytical thinker.8.Attention to detail and organizational skills.9.Ability to travel frequently.
