65,000.00 - 75,000.00 USD /year Status: Full Time, Employee Job Category: Engineering Relevant Work Experience: 2+ to 5 Years Career Level: Experienced (Non-Manager) Education Level: Bachelor's Degree Company: Synerfac Technical Staffing Email: Apply by Email Website: www.synerfac.com Product Engineer - PRO - E **PERMANENT POSITION**  PRODUCT ENGINEER – Pro-E Experience IF INTERESTED…SUMBIT ALL RESUMES TO ABORBELY@SYNERFAC.COM Work for a growing Central New Jersey (Somerville, NJ) area manufacturing company. JOB GOALS:The Product Engineer will be responsible for the development, analysis and characterization of new products and processes to be run at the Central New Jersey facility.  This will include the necessary purchase, assembly, testing and release of relevant tooling to support these products.   RESPONSIBILITIES:- Work with the Engineering Manager to establish key technical plans that consists of priorities, generic schedules, cost, resources, and ROI for critical programs.- Integrate Six Sigma into the company culture.  All design projects to be run using six sigma philosophy utilizing the green and/or black belt resource as a facilitator or project manager.  - Design and develop all new products: includes product justification, product design & development, process development, testing & characterization, required tool design & testing, and product release.  - Establish yearly development tool capital budget.  Justify, evaluate, assemble, test, characterize, and release these tools per defined schedules and procedures.  - Setup and perform characterization plans for existing and new designs per the voice of the customer need.- Assist in Pro-E training as needed.  Work with existing engineers to setup a conversion plan for critical products from AutoCAD to Pro-E. - Work with project engineering on critical tool and product issues that need immediate attention and resource.  EDUCATION SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS: - BS in Engineering Discipline (Mechanical and Industrial preferred)- At least 5 years of engineering experience in hose and/or pipe manufacturing, assembly, or applications.  - Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD and Pro-E. - Project management experience or training.  - Six Sigma training or project background.  PLEASE SUBMIT ALL RESUMES DIRECTLY TO ABORBELY@SYNERFAC.COM Anthony W.
