Job Overview:  A fast growing automotive wire harness and lighting supplier is looking for an energetic Program Manager to work in their Troy, Michigan facility. The selected candidate will be responsible for all aspects of Program Management from design inception/prototype phase through program launch. The ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment while executing time sensitive deliverables is required.

Qualifications:

 2-3 years relevant work experience.

 Bachelor degree from a College or University preferred.

 Experience in the automotive industry highly desired. 

 Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task.

 Demonstrates ability to clearly communicate both internally and externally.

 25-30% travel required.

 A proven track record of problem solving, critical thinking, and performing under pressure.

 Knowledge of APQP, QS-9000, tS16949, ISO 1400, SPC, 8D, PDCA and PPAP Basics requirements.

 Ability to read and understand technical drawings and specifications.

 Completion of assigned projects in allotted time with expected results.

 Support of Company goals and business objectives.

 Performs related tasks as needed.

 Ability to solve problems through deductive reasoning.

 Computer skills with strong knowledge of Word, Excel, Power Point and Project are required.

 Strive to meet and exceed daily job requirements.

 Must be Team Oriented.

Responsibilities: 

 

Manage all aspects of assigned customers including but not limited to;

- APQP Management of resources to ensure timing and budgets are met.

- Ensure launch timing is consistent with customer expectations.

- Customer Engineering support, including design recommendations

  and design/print review.

- Manage Engineering changes.

- Support of Continuous Improvement environment.

- Liaison between plant and customer.

- Sales support; making sales calls and seeking new business

  opportunities.
