Takata, a global manufacturer of custom automotive safety systems has an opening for a Quality Engineer at its facility in Moses Lake, Washington.  We offer great benefits, a clean modern facility and competitive wages.  This position requires the ability to effectively manage multiple, simultaneous tasks.  The individual will be required to prepare and maintain control plans, work instructions and inspection standards.  Investigation and response to customer concerns utilizing statistical and structured problem solving techniques, and cost of Poor Quality measurement.  The ideal candidate will have a BS in a technical field with at least 2 years Quality Engineering experience is required, preferable in an automotive or chemical background and ASQ certification as Quality Engineer is highly desirable.  TS16949 Certified Lead Assessor or internal auditing experience required.  They will also have strong process engineering skills with a continuous improvements mindset.  Moderate travel may be required.  Interested candidates should submit their resume to: wajobs@takata.com .
