QUALITY MANAGER w/Lean Mfg, 6Sigma & Juran. Automotive industry exper. $70K - $100K salary range

This is an outstanding opportunity for the successful candidate to manage a team of engineers & technicians working internally with all production departments and in close co-operation with company's business lines & product company functions such as R&D, Quality, Manufacturing and Logistics.  You will
be working & communicating with suppliers, seeking root cause analysis and solutions through the
JURAN Methodology to continually improve the overall quality of this company's products.

EDUCATION:
....B.A. or B.S. in Production, Quality or Engineering (or equivalent)

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
....Black Belt Six Sigma certification is preferred
....5-20 years related work experience
....Demonstrated leadership skills
....Working Knowledge:
* ISO9000-2000, ISO 14000 and TS16949 quality & environmental standards
* 5S + 1 philosophy on shop floor & office environments
 * Knowledge & experience of Lean Manufacturing Techniques
* Six Sigma and Juran process improvement methods
* SAP software
....Teaching/Training experience
....Working skills in all Microsoft Office tools
....Ability to work in a multinational & multicultural environment
....Excellent verbal & written communication skills

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
....Provide guidance and manage the day to day work of the Quality Assurance Team and serve as
the manager of the QA team
....Develop & implement business objectives supporting Continuous Improvement. Manage, facilitate
and particpate in KAIZEN activities for continuous improvement
....Lead continuous improvement activities, cycle time reduction & productivity improvements
....Team with other department managers & staff when developing quality solutions
....Reflect the value of LEAN MANUFACTURING techniques and take a leadership role in applying LEAN
Manufacturing methods when implementing solutions (ie Poka Yoke and 5S+1)
....Practice the JURAN quality improvement process using SIX SIGMA methods
....Champion use and application of JURAN methods for determining "root cause" of quality  problems and
manage the final resolujtion of recurrent issues
....Lead & assist in ROOT CAUSE ANALYSIS of production processes
....Manage maintenance of quality records & documents through the scope of ISO 9000 Quality System
....Promote practical & effective logistic processes
....Demonstrate & teach others the importance of the black-belt level Lean/Sigma Capability
