Quality Assurance Professional

Challenger Component Services Inc. is currently seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Professional with at least (5) years experience. Challenger is a class "C" Component supplier to the automotive industry.The responsibilities will include, but not limited to the following.

*Establish and review quality priorities.
*Manage, audit and continuously improve ISO:9001:2000 systems and procedures.
*Coordinate supplier and customer communications related to quality issues.
*Ensure supplier compliance with quality standards.
*Maintain documentation related to quality activities.
*Ensure appropriate quality training.
*Ensure that all customer requirements are met.
*Knowledge of automotive materials, heat treat and plating specifications.

The ideal canidate will have a record of strong technical knowledge through seminars or other formal training. Candidates must have a strong knowledge of ISO:9001:2000 AND ts16949 along with problem solving and communication skills. Experience in the fastener industry or fastener manufactruing a plus. Strong computer skills and interpersonal skills required.
