Manage the Quality Department and Lead HOS Initiatives for the Plant:Develop roles and responsibilities for quality engineers and other quality assurance staff Drive career planning and development for direct reports Develop strong relationship with the corporate technical services organization Drive continuous improvement, change management and teamwork to optimize operations profitability Provide leadership to drive HOS throughout the plant, including mentoring and coaching teams to drive standardization and consistency in work practicesSupport CPG initiatives such as HOS and SAP implementation Provide quality data and support for the organization including targets for continuous improvementManage quality engineering to ensure a balanced workload and flexibility across the organizationProvide parts per million (PPM) data related to customer internal and supplierProvide information relative to process capability - CpKProvide data analysis and determine goalsIssue and track Non-conformances, Corrective Action Reports (CARs), Preventive Action Reports (PARs) and ensure solutions are effectiveProvide Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) measurements, testing and documentationVisibly participate in product development and changes to reduce risks to the plantApprove specification changes from corporate technical servicesTS16949/QS 9000 management representative
Quality System:TS16949/QS 9000 management representative Lead Quality Management System Steering Committee to ensure effective internal audits Provide training for tools such as statistical process control (SPC) Create and maintain a system for production to be responsible for quality Establish and maintain an effective system for creating and updating control plans Administration (budgeting, capital planning, materials planning, product costing)
Customers:Establish and monitor system effectiveness for responding to customer complaints Act as a conduit to direct customer issues to the appropriate department Act as the customer representative on internal issues
Suppliers:Ensure an effective SQA system Ensure supplier corrective actions are timely and effective Provide required quality data for the COPQ chargeback system Interface intimately with supplier QE'sRequired Qualifications: Bachelors degree in a business related field 3-5 years experience in a quality role in a manufacturing environment Six Sigma greenbelt trained and certifiedPreferred Qualifications: 1-2 years experience managing direct reports Lean manufacturing training / knowledge and certificationProven leadership experience Experience with TS 16949/QS 9000 Experience conducting both internal and supplier audits Effective communication with multiple stakeholders, including internal customers, suppliers and external customers Able to successfully influence without authority Able to effectively drive change management Continual improvement mindset
