Radio Engineering Technologist

Radio engineering technologist will design, develop and deploy private Land Mobile Radio systems. The successful candidate will interpret customer specs, perform site analysis, perform propagation predictions and studies, design, build and test commercial or Public Safety grade voice and data equipment comprised of multiple-vendor hardware.Customer relation skills including verbal and written skills required. Customer interface skills at various levels from novice to expert are required. FCC licensing and regulations knowledge a plus. Industry certifications required (FCC License, NABER, etc.). Ability to operate industry-relevant test equipment.Four year degree and 10-12 years experience, or 2 year degree with equivalent experience required. Travel is required.Microwave and telecom experience a plus. 2-way Land Mobile Radio systems experience required.
