SALES & APPLICATIONS ENGINEER FOR HEATSHIELDS

ElringKlinger Sealing Systems (USA), Inc. is a global Tier I Supplier of gaskets, heat shields, and molded covers and modules for the automotive industry.

 

ElringKlinger Sealing Systems is expanding its local engineering support for the North American market.  Our Heatshield Business Unit is seeking to fill a Sales & Applications ENGINEER for Heatshields position located in our facility in Livonia.

 

The candidate will have technical responsibility regarding application engineering, part development and customer contacts on technical issues. The candidate will act as a liaison to coordinate engineering support between local program managers and the R& D department in Germany.

 

The ideal candidate would have strong knowledge and expertise in heatshield components for underbody and powertrain systems. The candidate must be capable of independently holding technical presentations and discussing technical problems.

 

In addition, well-developed sales skills, technical knowledge of automotive manufacturing, and excellent customer relations skills are also required.  German Language is a plus but not a requirement for the position.  The candidate must be familiar with MS-Office products.

 

The candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering; a Master’s Degree is preferred.  The candidate must also have at least 5 years of experience in Sales and Applications engineering related to Heatshields in underbody and powertrain systems.
