Allison Transmission designs, manufactures and markets automatic transmissions and Hybrid propulsion systems for on-highway trucks and buses, off-highway vehicles and equipment and military vehicles worldwide. Position Description

Develop and analyze information necessary to provide for product, business, manufacturing facility, marketing or administrative planning decisions. Plans and develops new methods of approach to solve complex planning problems. Work involves significant independent judgment and a considerable amount of creativity, perception and initiative in making decisions. May supervise a small group of planning analysts and support personnel.

Develops and prepares studies of external factors and trends as well as world-wide competition to evaluate possible impacts on Allison Transmission. Interfaces with production and service department personnel on technical production problems.

Prepares reports and makes presentations on planning issues for management review and decision

Coordinates divisional and staff committees, task forces and project centers

Assembles and organizes all information relevant to an assigned project, and presents recommendations based on analysis

Performs special studies and analyses

Regular contact with others outside the work group

Establishes a course of action to accomplish completion of the job and/or project

Position Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Management, Logistics or related field or equivalent training

High level of analytical ability where problems are unusual and difficult

Experience with SAP MM/PP modules

Well developed oral and written communication skills

Ability to organize and plan effectively with others

Knowledge of Corporate policy and procedures

Demonstrated technical and professional skills in job-related area required

Appropriate interpersonal styles and communication methods to work effectively with business partners to meet mutual goals required
