• Own the process and configuration design, implementation and support for all financial and controlling modules (FI-GL, AP, AR; CO-CCA, OPA) as well as project systems (PS) in SAP
• Support Finance colleagues in transacting core processes, including period-end closing and preparation for audits
• Support users in proper account assignments (i.e., cost center vs. internal order, vs. WBS) in their respective business functions (e.g., Engineering, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Receiving, etc.)
• Assist business colleagues in articulating new business requirements and translating them into effective technical specifications and / or SAP solution design.
• Lead SAP finance related projects, such as Vertex implementation, to meet business operating objectives
• Act as the SAP finance lead for integrated projects, such as SAP HR implementation, managing internal project team members and external consultants to deliver agreed project goals
• Train users on newly implemented functionalities
• Maintain documentation, including process flow, business process procedures, configuration, functional specification, and test scripts
• Create and maintain training material for SAP finance and controlling related processes and transactions
• Provide post go-live support and on-going fixes for FI / CO
• Provide standard reports in support of finance and controlling; and work with SAP ABAP Developer if required to generate additional reports and ad-hoc queries when required

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years hands-on SAP process design and configuration experience in FI/CO, including integration with MM, PP, PS, HR, SD
• Minimum 1+ years of experience as a functional lead in SAP FI/CO (i.e., Finance team lead on at least 1 end-to-end project), with as much experience of the following as possible: FI-GL, FI-A/P, FI-A/R, FI-AA, CO-CCA, OPA, CO-PA, CO-PC
• Minimum 3 years functional and configuration experience in PS, and integration with other SAP modules
• Minimum 3 years strong functional knowledge in financial accounting (G/L, A/R, A/P) and controlling
• Good working knowledge of SAP standard reports in FI, CO, and PS.
• Good working knowledge of Report Painter and SAP query tools
• Strong workshop leadership and blueprinting skills
• Automotive industry knowledge / experience a plus
• Manufacturing industry knowledge / experience a plus
• Familiarity with SAP BW, Enterprise Portals, and SAP ABAP development a plus
• CPA designation or public accounting experience is preferred
• Strong analytical and technical design experience
• Effective communication skills
• Project management experience
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
