Sales Director for Third Party Logistics firm

Job Description:
Direct all business development efforts of Comprehensive Logistics within all industries and markets.

Recognize deficiencies in overall business development for the company and create/build sales team from multiple sectors (automotive, retail, aerospace, electronics, etc…).

Provide leadership both for direct reports and indirect reports, and work collaboratively with Operations and Planning while building sales relationships.

Create, in concert with SVP/General Manager and the Executive Team, a business development plan for the company, as well as an executable approach to provide success.

Determine effective means of market and sector penetration, exploit areas of the 3PL market where Comprehensive Logistics can profitably operate, and determine a sales process that will achieve desired results.


Job Requirements:
7 - 10 years of Business Development and Sales Management, within the Third Party Logistics industry.

Exposure to the Automotive industry is preferred, as well as other industry sectors.

A track history of creating business development plans and executing to achieve desired results.

Definable leadership skills, strong communication abilities both oral and written.

Bachelors Degree is required,and a Masters Degree preferred.
