Sales Engineer

Support Account Managers in maintaining and growing customer accounts.

-Act as entry and tracking point for engineering inquiries and plant cost estimates
-Supply technical expertise in support of account managers.
-Sort raw project data and released cost analysis information into useful data for pricing.
-Coordinate new product introductions and phase outs, assisting plants in inventory obsolescence avoidance.
-Maintain control of projects throughworkflow system, driving projects from initiation to product release.
-Conduct appropriate maintenance of sales department data storage
-Assist in annual or ad hoc price adjustment actions
-Assist in the reduction of accounts receivables and surplus inventories.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
-Four year degree in engineering preferred. Will consider applicant with 4yr business degree and technical/engineering experience.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
-Working knowledge of product drive train systems and nomenclature
-Ability to liase with various engineering grouups and manufacturing locations in a fast paced environment.
-Good project management skills a MUST.
-ERP and database software a plus.
