Sales Manager

We are a leading national industrial supply distributor and integrator with an immediate opening for an experienced Sales Manager.  We are looking for a highly motivated entrepreneur who can leader a sales team, aggressively solicit new business and cultivate new customer relationships while working side-by-side with branch employees responsible for sales.

 

General Requirements:

P&L responsibility.  General management/sales techniques.  Computer literacy.  Leadership ability.  A Bachelor's degree in Business or work experience equivalent, 3 years progressive sales experience with supplies, and at least one year of management experience.  Written and oral communication skills.  Must have valid driver’s license.  Travel is required. 

The Sales Manager is responsible for:Leading a team to achieving sales goals, maximizing profits, and minimizing expenses Assesses area potential and develops annual branch business plans to ensure development of current business and capture new opportunities. Tailors local branch strategy to align with corporate strategy. Develops and cultivates good customer relations via face-to-face contact and team focus. Identifies and implements solutions to match customers' needs/opportunities and company’s abilities.Develop open lines of communication with staff to driveorganizational culture in the area to ensure alignment with and fulfillment of the company’s mission and objectives.
