Sales Manager-OEM Products

Leading Oakland County manufacturer is seeking an aggressive, results oriented Sales Manager to lead our OEM sales activities.  As the sales manager you will be responsible for the sale of all OEM products, development of new OEM business and serve as the customer interface between OEM business units and internal support functions as well as service existing accounts.

 

Responsibilities:

 

·  Develop new OEM business and service existing accounts

·  Develop Sales and Marketing Plans for OEM products

·  Attend and oversee tradeshows and other marketing events

·  Develop long-term strategy for sales and risk management

·  Develop and participate in sales presentations

·  Hands-on involvement with program management teams as needed

·  Support QS9000/ISO/TS16949 activity

·  Identify market trends, factors and problems and provide creative solutions

·  Develop OEM support materials including price and application lists & presentations

·  Monitor and manage business unit fiscal activities

·  Provide business reports for OEM sales activities including financial, project management, new business, quotation and engineering issues.

 

Requirements:

 Bachelor’s degree in marketing or business  administration Minimum of 5 years experience in automotive OEM sales/marketing Proven track record in OEM sales Strong communication and organizational skills Strong customer service orientation Product development capabilities Knowledge and understanding of engineering principles Automotive experience Knowledge of MS Office, Excel and Powerpoint 25% Travel
