Sales Manager - Telesales - Automotive Aftermarket

Brock Supply Company has been in the automotive industry for over 40 years. Family owned and operated, it has become a leader in the nationwide sales of new aftermarket auto parts and supplies to a niche market. We are seeking qualified and experienced candidates for our Sales Manager position. *Automotive experience is NOT required.

The Sales Manager is responsible for overseeing and monitoring all operations of the sales department, which is an inside tele-sales environment. Sales Representatives have established customers that they work with on a regular basis as well as cultivating new business.Excellent communication and self-motivation are required.  Strong computer skills and ability to analyze data are a must. This position works directly with upper management on a constant basis and therefore strong communication skills are required. The sales manager must maintain a positive attitude that promotes professionalism and company loyalty at all times. 

Duties and responsibilities

Ø  Supervise employees schedule and all daily operations of sales department.

Ø  Ensure sales representatives maintain professionalism with customers at all times. Monitor live calls, being on the floor approximately 25% of each day.

Ø  Monitor random sampling of completed calls – approximately 40 per day.

Ø  Coach sales reps throughout the day for more refined communication.

Ø  Provide feedback and communicate constantly with both upper management and reps.

Ø  Assist in setting departmental and individual goals. Review sales of each rep daily.

Ø  Complete daily sales report. Distribute to sales reps.

Ø  Complete daily/monthly reports noting total sales, calls monitored, specific feedback regarding performance of each rep, and telephone statistics, i.e.  abandoned calls, peak volume times.

Ø  Support company policy to have reps at desk/on phones, at all times. This may require assisting sales reps with necessities such as bringing ice water, picking up paperwork, etc.

Ø   Check time clock punches daily to ensure compliance to company policies.

Ø  Analyze data from call center statistics to generate monthly report for management. Informal executive summary is required for each monthly statistical report.

Ø  Assist with disciplinary procedures including proper documentation as necessary.

Ø  Assist with other assignments as requested by management.

Ø  Administer absentee responsibilities

o Reset computer / phone

o Check voice mails / e-mails throughout day and distribute

Ø  Assist in interviewing and hiring sales reps as requested by upper management.

 

The Duties and Responsibilities of the Sales Manager are important factor in the growth of the company.

 

Requirements:

- Management of at least 10 employees for at least 5 years

-Customer Service and Sales Experience

-Ability to learn and work with multiple types of software

-Able to coach, motivate and lead diverse personalities.
