Sales Planning Analyst

Toyota Boshoku America is an automotive interior system supplier looking for an Sales Planning Analyst for our R&D Technical Center in Novi, Michigan.

Job SUMMARY



Reports to the Department Supervisor; this position will coordinate and assist with projects and business relationships related to assigned accounts. The successful candidate will develop and ensure maintenance of departmental duties, including administrative responsibilities.  Responsible for preparing and/or coordinating the preparation of product estimates or quotes on small or large complex projects. Performs special projects and other related duties as requested in order to assist department goals.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1)  Tracks the implemented VE/VI/ECI ideas and presents them in a graphical manner to show profit/loss to Senior Management.

2)  Provide regular status reports and manage task lists on assigned accounts progress for all project areas.

3)  Performs special projects as requested. (e.g., Senior Management presentations)

4)  Works with customer in order to gather sales information such as surveys, for use in sales planning, forecasting, and specific programs.  Stays abreast of industry trends.

5)  Support cost information for assigned programs including but not limited to costed Bill of Material (BOM).

6)  Reviews and evaluates Requests for Estimates.

7)  Where predetermined standard(s) are not available, develops an estimate.

8)  Informs immediate supervisor of any observed inaccuracies or omissions in quoted items or computer database.

9) Develops customer quotes estimates as well as complete commodity quotes.

Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.

Education and Experience

Four year degree or High School diploma with two to four years of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills

Ability to read and interpret documents such as blueprints, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Write routine reports and correspondence. Speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
