Help Empire Lube Inc. II d/b/a Jiffy Lube be a leader in the Automotive Lubrication industry by being and active participant in the Accounting Department.Ideal candidate is one who establishes financial status;  achieves operational objectives; develops systems; confirms financial status; monitors revenue and expenses; maintains accounting controls; guides other departments; complies with legal requirements.

Qualifications

Required Extensive PC experience working in a Windows environments. Expert user of standard software systems such as word processing, spreadsheets, e-mail,  and database software. Expertise in using Excel, Access, and Peachtree Accounting or applicable accounting and financial software to record or analyze financial information. BS in Accounting with experience in Multi Location accounting.Please include salary history and requirements in your response.

Preferred Synthesizes all forms of research into clear, thoughtful, actionable deliverables Proficient at establishing sound budget goals and objectives. Successfully coordinates communications, meetings, and activities among multiple remote groups or organizations. Exhibits meticulous attention to detail. Is committed to producing accurate and high-quality work. Proficient at completing audits, summarizing findings, and designing audit tests. Available to work after hours and weekends, as required. Can be trusted to handle extremely confidential and sensitive information. Conscientiously and methodically approaches work. Sees tasks through to completion. Familiarity with the applicable Statement of Financial Accounting Standards (SFAS) rules for this industry. Skilled at analyzing causes of variances between actual and prior year income and expenses. Motivates others to achieve. Raises morale and increases productivity. Familiarity with issues of compliance for state and federal regulations. Capable of managing people and work. Skills include planning, developing policies, and delegation. Manages processes to monitor and to maximize performance.
