Senior Condsolidations Accountant

Environmental Systems Products, the world leader in Emmisions Testing is seeking a full time Senior Condoslodiation Accountact for their East Granby Corporate Offices.

 

CHARACTER OF THE JOB:

Accurate and complete internal financial statements for Management decision making and preparation of statutory reporting requirements.  Project improvements of reporting structure and related tasks.  Corporate position involves Global understanding of ESPH business.  Excellent communication skills. Position located in ESPH corporate office.

 

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

· Prepare all standard and non-recurring monthly journal entries for Corporate entity.

· Assist with preparation/coordination of the monthly consolidation package and financial reports for the company and its numerous domestic and foreign subsidiaries.

· Provide International accounting support

· Research/resolution of new accounting issues. 

· Preparation of monthly account reconciliations for various Corporate accounts. 

· Review of program general ledger journal entries and coordination of the review of program account reconciliations.

· Coordination of the entity-wide inter company and fixed asset accounting process.

· Coordination of medical and insurance benefits financial activity.

· Provide support for annual audit process

 

KNOW HOW:

· Minimum of 3 years of experience in Consolidation Accounting and reporting.

· Strong PC skills.

· Independent thinker and problem solver.

· Working knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles..

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelors degree in Accounting. CPA a plus.

 

PRINCIPLE LINE OF PROMOTION:

-  Positions leading to position:  Program or Unit Staff Accountant, Financial Analyst Planning

-  Leads to:  Accounting Supervisor/Manager, Assistant Controller
