Senior Logistics Analyst - Req. # O-2685

Location: Brea, CA Salary Range: $47,609 - $59,511/annually   Position Summary: Oversees and audits the operational activities of the Automotive Unit, including the workload of the Logistics Coordinator.  Oversees, coordinates and processes all vehicle order and invoicing related matters between the Distribution Department, District Sales Managers, Port Managers, Automotive Carriers, and Dealerships.  Recommends and selects mode of transportation for less than truck load (LTL) vehicle shipments by performing regional and inter-regional cost analysis.  Creates and maintains automotive model masters and regulates required information between Sales Department, Government Relations, Warranty/Service Department, and Accounting.  Analyze and monitor vehicle claims for marine, terminations, transportation, warranty, and internal damages.  Supervises the Logistics Coordinator in the analysis of, ordering, receipt, and transportation of POE accessories.  Provides support to the Logistics Manager and guidance to the Port Managers in daily distribution operations and special reports. Minimum Qualifications: Two years experience in an operations environment is required. Port, transportation or automotive experience preferable.  Four-year college degree or equivalent, with an emphasis in business/ logistics/ transportation desirable. Computer proficient in MS Excel, MS Access, and MS Word.  The ability to communicate and interact with diverse groups of people.  Requires excellent oral and written skills.
