Move into the fast lane with SPX Service Solutions as a Senior Manufacturing Finance Analyst SPX Service Solutions, a global leader in the design and manufacture of advanced diagnostic automotive electrical equipment, has as immediate opening for a Manufacturing Finance Analyst with our SPX North American Tools Group business unit located in Owatonna, Minnesota.   Our culture demands driven, energetic, global thinkers with strong leadership capabilities and an earnest desire for personal growth.  If you thrive on change, the opportunity to challenge the status quo, and are seeking career growth opportunity, we want to hear from you! We are seeking an experienced Senior Manufacturing Finance Analyst who will be responsible for cost analysis, cost process improvement, systems set up (Baan and Service Module) and integration of cost processes for the Tools and Equipment North America operation. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:  Monitors inconsistencies and variances between standard costs and actual costs.  Communicates with appropriate departments to explain variances. Responsible for account reconciliation for inventory, cost of goods sold, and prepaid accounts.  Documents account transaction activity processes and monitors account to ensure accuracy. Driver of strategic vision to functional counterparts at other Service Solution locations to improve processes. Responsible for monitoring large variances in standard cost by analyzing cost reports to insure accuracy and prevent cost errors. Supports annual planning process by working with manufacturing department supervisors to develop an operating budget. Creates charts and other financial summaries to help manage the business. Develops a business partnership with key operations business leaders to identify and measure critical success indicators. Qualified candidates will possess the following:  Bachelor's Degree in Accounting,  CPA preferred (or CFM, CMA), three or more years experience in manufacturing accounting and financial analysis with a mid to large company (automotive and/or manufacturing), demonstrated knowledge of ERP systems (preferably Baan) and Microsoft applications, demonstrated expertise of a standard cost system and demonstrated knowledge of US GAAP principals, a track record of process improvements, ability to handle multiple projects, excellent communication skills, and confidence to work with business unit leaders.   As reward for your contribution to the company's success, you will receive a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package that includes:  medical/dental insurance, 401(k) plan, tuition assistance and more.  Please send resumes to hrww@servicesolutions.spx.com .  Please label the subject line MFA/OTC - vl.  Thank you for your interest in SPX! As an Equal Opportunity Employer, our commitment to diversity is a driver to our success.
