Senior Programmer Analyst

Senior Programmer Analyst, Midwest Express Inc., East Liberty, Ohio. Create detail level design for software development projects. Perform system study and design for new project development and for existing system enhancement. Study, analyze and map customers business scanning process requirements. Code, test and debug new or modify existing programs according to specifications and to fulfill production requirements using IBM Software Engineering, RPG and CL programming language. Develop data integration and communication between systems. Build systems as per the detail design specification. Accomplish programming work on time and ensure project goals are met as per requirement. Develop test scripts for system testing. Write program specifications; create system/user documentation and instruction manuals. Provide production support and troubleshoot system issues. Assure total quality control management and programming standards. Minimum requirements include: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering or Computer Science plus 5 yrs of progressive professional exp including IBM Software Engineering Certification, RPG and CL programming language skills.
