This company designs, manufactures, assembles, tests and sells components for the automotive OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers including solenoid valves, electromagnetic clutches, brake proportioning valves, complex stampings and other electrical components for engine/transmission applications. Customers include General Motors, Ford, Toyota, Audi AG, Volkswagen and BMW.This position will require relocation to Texas. Apply only if you are willing to relocate.Successful Candidates will demonstrate:· Bachelor’s Degree in a related discipline.· 4+ years quality experience in the automotive Tier I or Tier II environment· Hands on work with SPC, FMEA, Control Plans, MSA, APQP, PPAP · Six-Sigma experience.  Green/ Black Belt Certification is preferred.· Experience in Quality and Environmental systems and standards required.  ISO 14001 and TS16949 is a must.  · Demonstrated a master skill working on disciplined corrective actions and problem solving process (8-D, 5-Why’s, etc.).· Full understanding of gauging, gauging techniques for close tolerance machining, GD&T.· Working knowledge of CMM, form measurement equipment, and applicable software.· ASQ Certification preferred.· Excellent written and oral communication skills.Travel: Willingness to travel as required in support of customer and supplier requirements.Primary Responsibilities:· Monitor and maintain quality system to support TS16949 and customer specific requirements.· Interface with customers to support product improvements, applicable reporting requirements and quality concerns.· Interact with suppliers to achieve annual supplier PPM targets.· Effectively lead assigned Quality Department employees.· Support the needs of Production, Materials, Manufacturing Engineering and Design Engineering Departments as required.This is a terrific opportunity with a great company that offers great salary, benefits and growth opportunity.
