Senior Sales Consultant - Injection Molding
Stable, growth-oriented, customer-focused leading manufacturer in the injection molding/plastics industry seeks a self-motivated, proven producer for a key position on our team. The successful candidate will have a history of five (5) plus years in building new client relationships, maintaining excellent customer service, and surpassing quotas. The individual will be supported by a dynamic sales support team and marketing and sales programs for this organization. Compensation structure includes a base salary and a liberal commission plan to earn in excess of $95,000 per year. This position reports directly to the Director of Sales.
Essential Functions:
· Create, maintain and execute a successful territory sales plan through proposals, presentations, trade shows and other meetings;
· Analyze end-user needs, short-term and long-term corporate initiatives;
· Initiate and control sales processes with new clients with needs for injection molding and/or plastics manufacturing;
· Maintain and enhance relationships with current clients;
· Project a positive presence in negotiations to maximize revenues and profits;
· Close and multi-task new customer sales opportunities.
Essential Requirements:
· Five (5) years of successful manufacturing sales;
· Injection molding/plastics industry knowledge and experience preferred;
· Proven experience selling to the medical/healthcare and other similar industries;
· Verifiable ability to exceed targeted goals and work independently;
· Initiative and ability to generate own leads as well as excellent follow up on company furnished accounts;
· Organized, detail and process oriented and a team player.
