Senior Test Engineer

POSITION TITLE:  Sr. Test Engineer

 

BASIC FUNCTION: Responsible for organizing, prioritizing work, developing test specifications and test coverage reports.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

 

1. Candidate must possess a strong background in digital electronics,

including micro-processors, DSP and bus communications.

 

2. Understanding of functional test equipment requirements and programming is preferable. 

 

3. Experience in audio, video and RF preferred. 

 

4. The candidate will be the interface between Design Engineering and the Advanced Electronics Manufacturing Test Group on new product development. 

 

5. Will attend team meetings, design reviews and insure testability of products. 

 

6. Will develop test specifications and test coverage reports. 

 

7. Experience with Test Way Test Coverage Analyzer Software a plus. 

 

8. Candidate must be a self starter with strong communication and interpersonal skills.

 

OTHER DUTIES:

 

1. Candidate will perform all other duties assigned by supervisor.

 

Education:  7 to 10 years experience in Test Engineering.

 Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering or higher required.
