Sr. Inventory Management Analyst

QUALIFICATIONS/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSThis position is responsible for assisting with the planning and forecasting of sales and intake of Daimler Trucks Remarketing (DTR) used trucks; selecting appropriate sales channel for distribution; analyzing and reporting current inventory status; tracking, analyzing and reporting corporate inventory movement through selected distribution channels. REQUIREMENTS: Manage the DTR inventory reporting; assist Management in maximizing inventory turns by providing appropriate inventory reporting. Provide input to Management regarding inventory aging, mix and forecasted intake. Prepare and schedule bi-monthly Sales Planning Meetings with DTR Senior Management. Track and ensure inventory from non-standard sources (repossessions, Fair Market Value Lease) are expedited through the proper sales channels. Manage Used Truck Inventory (UTI) Online Auction Site; Coordinate all UTI.com on-line sales with Daimler Truck Financial, assist DTR Marketing in the promotion and training of this site, assist DTR Marketing and Distribution Management with training for SelecTrucks Centers to utilize UTI.com for their own inventory sales, integrate and administer the sale of DTF inventory on UTI.com Assist in keeping DTR dealer portal web site accurate and current on program inventory and update truck photos with Marketing Assist Pricing Manager and the Sales Operations Manager with reporting and with pricing and sales related issues. Familiarity with vehicle specifications, applications and Freightliner systems databases helpful.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree with minimum three (3) years experience. Knowledge of Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word required. (STRONG Excel and Access skills required). Ability to handle numerous creative development projects simultaneously. Strong communications skills: Both verbal and written. A demonstrated ability to think and work in a creative manner and to solve complex tasks. Ability to work with minimum direct supervision.
