Sr. Quality Engineer- FH

TK Holdings Inc./TK-ESS (Takata) is looking for a Sr. Quality Engineer for our Farmington Hills, Michigan office. We are a small electronics division of a $4 Billion Tier 1 and 2 automotive supplier of safety equipment. Takata is an industry leader in seatbelts, air bags, steering wheels, interior components, and crash detection and avoidance electronics.

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and directing activities concerned with development, application, and maintenance of quality standards for industrial processes, materials, and products.

Some job responsibilities include:Applies total quality management tools and approaches to analytical and reporting processes within each department. Develops and initiates standards and methods for inspection, testing, and evaluation.  Devises sampling procedures along with design and development of forms and instructions for recording,evaluating, and reporting quality and reliability data. Directs others engaged in measuring and testing product and tabulating data concerning materials, product, or process quality and reliability. 

 

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.  5-7 years of practical experience in quality assurance.  Certificates: ASQ, CQE or  CRE.
