Strategic Procurement Manager

Sr. Project Commodity Manager..needed immediately! 
Salary range: $85-100,000 + bonus
Responsible for commodities across several divisions!  Will focus on development of lean, strategic, and efficiency standards throughout procurement globally!
Sr. Commodity Manager...positions for multiple facilities! 
Salary range: $75-95,000 +bonus
Responsible for dedicated commodities (direct and indirect) with annual spend of 50-100 million dollars!  Corporate assignment!  Commodities: Electronics are primary; additional commodities include: metals & plastic injection molded parts

Accountable for business units worldwide, over 50 countries and 15,000 employees!
Must develop new and existing suppliers with travel internationally 25-30%

 

Accountable for all procurement activities supporting multiple divisions which include domestic and international manufacturing, distribution, branch and corporate facilities.

 

Must develop and maintain relationships with internal/external customers and cross functional departments such as Supply Chain, Engineering, Manufacturing and senior management at supplier locations.

 

Will develop financial models, strategic and global procurement strategies with focus on accommodating implementation of new and extensive computerized systems, lean and black belt directives.

 


Requirements:

 

BS Engineering; MBA highly preferred

 

Must have 7-10 years progressive corporate procurement experience supporting multiple locations

 

Candidates must corporate strategic commodity experience with domestic and international suppliers. 
For Sr. Project Commodity Manager and Commodity Managers, candidates must have 5-7 yrs electronic procurement, management of staff of 5+, multi-site and global experience.
